I have completed my engineering in Computer science and MBA from MDI Gurgaon, these courses gave me an excellent technology-based management background. Post that I worked with a boutique Management Consulting firm for about two years.
We think every idea starts from a personal experience that is till you donai??i??t come across some constraints in personal situations, one would never want to find solutions to those. Living out of a bachelor pad, the co-founding team had different daily requirements (e.g. the different things we wanted to eat for dinner), but found no comfortable single solution that could cater to all of our needs.
There always are certain unavoidable tasks that one has to do but wouldnai??i??t really want to do them by themselves. This is exactly where DoneThing comes in. We set out in June 2015 to transform the way people shop for their daily needs, run errands, book various services, plan events etc.
2. What is DoneThing (earlier Qlivery) all about? Tell us in detail about the services offered?

3. What is your competition in the market? What is it that sets you apart from your competition?
Currently we perceive no competition providing the gamut of services we are providing to the market. There are several players providing a part of services like grocery delivery, bookings, finding home services etc. The technology platform is unique in nature and the capabilities that we have developed to execute are unmatched by any of the current competitor.
4. What is the business model of DoneThing? Can you briefly summarize the growth achieved in both volume and value from the day1 till now?
We have started with a problem statement that do urban middle class looks to outsource their daily mundane task and need assistance to get things done. We started with a Pilot and have seen good response and finally decided to launch. We have an extensive network of merchant on board along with our dedicated team executing these requests providing a hassle-free time and cost saving, which understand the requirement in detail and get it done in a very personalized manner.

5. How has been your beginnerai??i??s journey? What were the challenges you faced in setting up and scaling up your enterprise? Any hurdle that you faced or still facing?
It has been an adventurous and a joyful ride till now. Good response from the market and positive feedback from customer has kept us motivated to constantly work to make our customers happy. To get a feel of how things are going on every front, the co-founding team have been delivery boys on a particular day, being a promoter distributing leaflets on another, going to shop to shop to bring merchants on board, carried packages around the city, attending to client over call/chat etc.
We came across multiple challenges and each one of those has helped us to learn and evolve regularly to serve our customer better. We have faced a huge challenge to increase the penetration of technology amongst Mom and pop shops in India as they still run in a traditional manner.
