1.Tell us about your background before PreBoo. Share with us briefly about your entrepreneurial journey and inception of PreBoo.
Before PreBoo I was Marketing Consultant for 1 and half year. The idea of PreBoo struck me and my wife when were not happy with the kind of response we got from the preschool staff where our daughter is going. So we decided to fix it, and we also found out that it not only us who are unhappy but there are majority of the parents who feel the same. We started digging more about any such software/app/service which can directly solve the issues faced by us, but we didn’t found any from India. There are some startups which are based in Canada and USA which solves the problem which was exactly faced by us. And thus PreBoo was born, and we decided to make mobile first startup which is not in school management but works to solve the communication problem arising between parents and teachers and which can be used not only by preschool and daycares but also by other activity institutes as well.
2.What is PreBoo all about? Tell us in detail about the services offered?
PreBOO will help parents connect more easily with their child, as they will know what their child did at school and also give teachers/schools an easy way communicate real-time.

There are a couple of ventures in the same space, but they all are providing tools (software/apps) which solves management level issues, and those are not specifically made for parents having children in the age group of 3 to 6 years, as this is the age group where parents are more concerned about their child behaviour. So we are different as we are targeting a niche of the above mentioned age group and also solve the communication problem between teachers and parents.
4.What is the business model of PreBoo? Can you briefly summarize the growth achieved in both volume and value from the Day 1 till now?
We are currently not live in the marketing. We intend to rollout with 4 preschool as a pilot from Ahmedabad and then grow from there gradually, while making notes and learning from every feedback and opinion we get from the 4 preschool with whom we are having LOI signed. Moving forward we will have a subscription based business model, clubbed with in app purchase in the near future.
5.How has been your beginnerai??i??s journey? What were the challenges you faced in setting up and scaling up your enterprise? Any hurdle that you faced or still facing?
Getting foot in the schools based out of Gujarat is an uphill task for sure. It was tough in the beginning and we did faced some NOs from many schools but we have to make it work for us and the schools so we kept on going from one school to another and that has been a quite liberating journey.
6.Can you tell us about your other founders/core team, their background and rich experience? buy ventolin england.
– Sweta Trivedi (CoFounder): An IT professional with more than 7 years of experience in the programming field.
– Jaydeep Huraa (Business Head): A commerce graduate, having 9+ years of experience in the teaching field.
– And we have hired few developers on part time basis to develop the app in iOS and Android.
7.How are you all funded? Any early stage money/seed stage experience that you would like to share with us?
At the moment we are bootstrapped. In talks with few angels. But nothing substantial that can be shared.
8.Any other areas or initiatives that you plan to venture in future?
At the moment we aim to expand PreBOO in all the major cities in India and then we want to take it in International market like CANADA, USA and Europe.
9.What will PreBoo look like in 10 years from now? All perspectives ai??i?? people, business, revenues, team, size or anything you foresee for the venture.
We want to turn PreBOO in to all-in-on preschool, daycare solution providing platform, be in learning videos, connecting pediatrician history, connecting taxi aggregators and much more.
10.Any school/ campus-connect initiatives that you are pursuing or plan to pursue?
Not at the moment. We are solely focused on rolling out pilot with 4 preschools at the moment. May be it is a yes, in future we will for sure.
11.Any experience or advice you would like to share with soon to be start-up founders out there?
Make a product that solves problem; don’t make a product than go out in search of finding a problem that it may be capable to solve.
