What is OhLook?
OhLook is a subscription based style curation and a fashion service for men, which gives them an access to an unlimited wardrobe, letting them wear a different shirt every single day from the latest fashion trends and top brands. Additionally, an OhLook customer will never wear the same shirt twice, and that’s an OhLook guarantee. The customers receive shirts from top brands like Louis Philippe, FCUK, Levi’s, US Polo, Arrow among others.
On signing-up, the customer is requested to fill in a style form, who’ll later be assigned to a personal stylist of his own. Now, his personal stylist at OhLook will do all the hard work of picking the right shirts for him, according to his fashion preferences choices. Later, his OhLook box is delivered at his doorstep.
OhLook offers 3 boxes to suit customers’ preferences. A box of 20 shirts a month is priced at Rs.2000, a box of 12shirts/month is priced at Rs.1200, and a box of 4 party wear shirts a month is priced at Rs.500.
Additionally with this service, men can now say goodbye to the hassles of managing their wardrobe like shopping, washing or ironing and say hello to being stylish, effortlessly. The monthly package of 20 shirts would cost the same one would spend to buy a single shirt.
Well, an OhLook shirt is 100% germ free as it undergoes multiple phases of cleaning which includes wash, re-tailoring, colour enhancements, ironing and packaging, just like a new shirt. OhLook’s cleaning unit has a state of the art machine adhering to the international standards and hence, they’re able to maintain world class quality.
OhLook has been part of the esteemed European accelerator Spark10, which is backed by Ignite, where they raised a seed funding of $30,000 in cash and kind.
Immediately, post our beta launch in Hyderabad, OhLook had become a buzz word in the IT companies. Within weeks, our likes on Facebook page reached a whopping 10,000 likes. With major partnerships in pipeline, we wanted to control the number of orders by changing the purchase model to Request for Invite. Today, we have over 1500 orders in less than 3 months with not even a single penny being spent on marketing. Word-of-mouth did the trick for us. All of this was achieved through zero cost marketing and this feat put us on the cover of India’s Leading Lifestyle Magazine, You&I, among the hottest 6 startups to look out for in 2016.
Additionally, OhLook has also been receiving a lot of laurels from across India. We were the top finalists from India at Times Now’s startup reality show, “The Vault”. We were the regional winners of ABP News’ startup competition at Hyderabad. We were also awarded as the second best emerging startup across India by ABP News and Haywards 5000’s “Hauslay Ki Udaan” startup reality show.
Currently OhLook.in’s wardrobe flaunts over shirts from over top 25 brands in the country. Very soon, we would be launching international luxury brands like Versace, Armani and Ben Sherman as well in our catalogue. Also, we aim to on-board celebrated and budding designers in the country to list their designs with us.Also, going further, we’ll also introduce jeans, chinos, luxury watches and sunglasses and send them along with the pack of shirts, thereby, taking care of his entire fashion.
The founders, Arshad Azad and ArmaanAzaad are brothers who are joined by their close friend Veera Shekar.All of them have immense interests towards innovation, creativity and arts. Everyone started their careers at a very young age, by which they have a combined work experience of 28 years.Arshad Azad, flaunts 6 years of experience in operations, supply chain and logistics planning. Veera Shekar, has over 12 years’ experience in Project Management, Inventory Planning and Six Sigma Implementation. ArmaanAzaad, responsible for the brand visibility of OhLook, had worked as a growth hacker with South Asia’s biggest digital media company, where he generated a traction of over 100 million for the network.
